wholemeal brown soda bread

1 lb plain flour
1 lb extra course wholemeal
2 tsp salt
2 tsp bread soda
1 lt buttermilk.
Preheat oven to 210 degrees C
Mix all the ingredients together - this should form a sloppy dough rather than a stiff dough. Pour out onto a baking tray and shape it into a round. Cut a cross on the top. Bake in the oven for 210 degrees C for 10 minutes and then 180 degrees C for another 20 minutes.
