pasta with blue cheeserating:
uninspired last night, so rummaged in the fridge.
put some pasta on to boil - we used fusilli. Finely chop an onion, and a couple of thick rashers of organic bacon that needed using up - cut the rind off.
sauté these two in a little olive oil until soft. Chop up some Stilton into small cubes.
when the pasta is cooked, drain it and return it to the pan, add the bacon and onion, and the stilton, and stir it all around over a very low heat until the cheese is melted.
it doesn't sound much, but it was rather good.
