pepper and goat's cheese flanrating:
I made a "leftovers' flan a couple of nights ago; two red and one yellow
pepper that were a bit weary, and some goats cheese. Saute the peppers in
some olive oil, decide part way through that they taste a bit bitter, so
lob in a sloosh (smallish) of maple syrup. Pour into blind baked pastry
case, top with crumbled goats cheese, add an egg beaten with cream and
seasoning. Bake at gas 6 (yes, I know you don't) for about 40 mins.
